Bubba Diesel Medical Marijuana Strain Review
From: Stone Mountain Wellness
Grade: A
Type: Hybrid - [Bubba Kush x Sour Diesel]
Price: $50/8th
Appearance: (9/10) The sample was dry, well manicured, pest free, medium density and covered in beautiful trichomes. Coloration is shades of green and very fuzzy orange pistils.
Aroma: (9/10) Sweet eucalyptus scent that was tantalizing. A truly wonderful smell regardless of its source.
Taste: (7/10) We got multiple reports of a sweet fertilizer taste, even a dark berry hint, but overall it was agreed that while the flavor was still very pleasant it was certainly the weakest mark of the group.
Effects: A cerebral, enlightening feeling hits almost instantly while body heat, perspiration, and heart rate all noticeably increase. As the the medication sets in the mind and body begin to move in slow motion. The sativa and indica effects in this strain seemed at constant battle, trading dominance back and forth. Half way through a slight couch or chair session are in order as the indica emerges. Towards the end one regains mental sharpness and finds motivation. A nice surplus of energy emerges as you hit the road to sobriety.
Duration: Long. 2.5 hours
Medicinal Traits: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Good for head to toe body pain, and was able to rid a slight headache. Also recommended for depression and hypertension.
Overall: This is a very strong and impressive strain. The hybrid waves were quite pronounced but not uncomfortable or meddling. The high was still clear while the medicine worked well for body aches, muscle tension, and pain relief. It was a beautiful cluster of flowers, presented well, and the experience was therapeutic and enjoyable. It’s hard to beat that combo.
Diesel Dawg (CCF)
Diesel Dawg Medical Marijuana Review
From: Colorado Care Facility
Grade: A-
Type: Hybrid – East Coast Sour Diesel x Chem 91 55/45 Indica to Sativa
Price: $55/8th
Appearance: Different hues of green – large and well taken care of.
Aroma: Chemical pine & menthol fuel
Taste: A clean lemon (no astringent flavor common with the “cleaner” tasting strains) with good expansion
Buzz Type: A sharp, well adjusted buzz with lifted visual & auditory awareness. The wavy, happy feeling kept me on my feet with full coordination and drive as well as being mentally disciplined for writing and other seated activities. Maybe a little sativa dominance in this one, but a good mixture.
Buzz Length: Medium. 1.5 – 2+ Hours.
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Well recommended for fatigue and introversion with only mildly satisfactory nerve/bone pain relief. Muscle based (leg cramps and similar) were knocked out quite well. IBS was immediately relieved, but not much appetite stimulation.
Overall: Great bud, when I first hit it I could tell it was clean and well maintained throughout the grow. After hitting the vaporizer I had an immediate couch lock that lasted about 4 minutes. Then I was alert and happy doing just about anything, watching a movie or editing photos. Overall a great bud for varied situations, I would’ve liked to see a little more longevity for a higher grade.
NYC Diesel (Pure Medical Dispensary)
NYC Diesel Medicinal Marijuana Strain Review
From: Pure Medical Dispensary
Grade: A
Type: Sativa
Price:$50 1/8th
Appearance: Well manicured and sugary. Nice sized buds with a deep Green pigment.
Aroma: Piney fuel smell accustomed to all Diesel strains, but not as gritty, had a faint sweetness if anything.
Taste: Chemical pine. Good expansion.
Buzz Type: After a short, maybe two minute delay, it was lift-off. The first hour was an immobile experience of numb fuzzy limbs, auditory displacement and a head I felt might soon float off my shoulders. The next hour I actually had to go lay down, feeling the 3 hits I took may have been too much (rare for me). The third was a very relaxing semi functional hour where I felt no real need for re-medication.
Buzz Length: 2 ½ – 3 Hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Made limb and back pain nonexistent.
Overall: Best Diesel strain I’ve had to date. Be on the look out for the Triple Diesel review coming soon….
Sour Diesel (The High Country)
Sour Diesel Medicinal Marijuana Strain Review
From: The High Country
Grade: B
Type: Sativa
Price: $45 1/8th
Appearance: Not a bad representation of the Sour D, but nothing totally special either.
Aroma: Has the sour fuel smell, staying true to its name, just not as pungent as others we have come across.
Taste: Piney/fuel. Kind of harsh
Buzz Type: Instant head high, it had a real intense start. It gave me some auditory issues at first, causing my ears to ring and found difficulty focusing on desired noises. This one had a manic start with a depressive duration, where I wasn’t locked in my seat but felt more at home there. Being easily distracted and “antsyness” might come in to play as well.
Buzz Length: Long. 2 hours.
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Decent pain qualities along with pressure relief for the eyes.
Overall: I always enjoy sour diesel, so I enjoyed this one as well, but I’ve had better. So I’ll put it like this; good for a strain, but not the best representation for what strain it is.
Headband (Delta 9)
Headband Medicinal Marijuana Strain Review
From: Delta 9
Grade: B+
Type: Sativa. (OG Kush x Master Kush x Sour Diesel)
Price: $40/8th
Appearance: Appeared almost fuzzy.
Aroma: Smelled like decomposing or dried fall leaves (not a bad thing).
Taste: Earthy, dried leaves.
Buzz Type: A quick starter that initially came with a surge of motivation and focus, only to be lost in 20 minutes. Another 15-20 min. later I was back on my feet. Up and down, up and down describes this one best for me, it made me tired at times but I still maintained a level of excitement and drive.
Buzz Length: Long. 2-2 ½ hours.
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) A medium pain reliever I would say, didn’t have major pain issues this day but the pain I did have was non-existent after medicating. Felt a concentration in my head (like I was wearing a sports headband) with a comfortable pressure recommended for headaches.
Overall: A strange one in the sense that I was in a constant transition between energy and fatigue, I would recommend getting used to this one before making plans on it. I felt my state of mind change back and forth a few times, which was noticed by others. Overall I liked the Headband, this long lasting strain was a nice change of pace.
