Scent: Musky and coffee-like pre-grind, it brightens up a bit and takes on some more standard citrus Kush notes when handled
Flavor: Floral Kush with hints of menthol and spice
Effects: The first 45 minutes or so are Sativa in nature, with an increased heart rate, a buzzing and energetic body presence, and lots of eye and head pressure. After that initial Sativa blast, it turns almost completely Indica, causing heavy relaxation and a lazy, goofy, near-euphoric state. As it dwindles away, the energy level goes down, making this a good lead-in to sleep as well as a general relaxant and mood elevator.

Lime Kush (Broadway Wellness)
[smooth=id:58;]
Lime Kush Medical Marijuana Strain Review
From: Broadway Wellness
Grade: A-
Type: Sativa-dominant hybrid, lineage unknown
Price: $55/8th
Appearance: (8/10) Very pretty flower clusters from this plant. Good manicure and great trichome count, though overall structure was a little sparse. Good harvest, just starting to go amber on the trichs.
Aroma: (7/10) Light clean pine, classic kush scent, with a hint of soil but no strong citrus or sour aromas.
Taste: (7/10) A slight menthol effect with only a bit of the pine/kush taste, more like fresh leaves and vegetation.
Effects: Immediate medicinal effects of head to toe body lightness. The first hour was a distinct phase for this specimen whereby everyone was met with an overwhelming energy rush resulting in creativity, motivation, and emotional euphoria. The rush in itself was enough to force some to sit down and wait it out, though it was nothing like a typical couch lock. The mind and body are in harmony with this medicine. As the motivation instructs, the body responds effortlessly even though the muscles are relaxed and the mind is at ease.
Duration: Medium, about 2 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) The Lime Kush is an excellent behavioral medication giving uplifting spirit and motivation, happiness/euphoria, and moderate pain relief.
Overall: The Lime Kush was a terrific sample. Visually it presented well, and smelled and tasted very good though both could have been more pungent. The experience provides mind and body medication with focus and motivation coming via a relaxed physical body. There was no heavy let down or exhausting phase to overcome, just a very nice medicinal experience. If the Lime Kush is available the next time you are on Broadway, you should pick it up.
SFV OG x ChemDawg (CAM)
SFV OG x Chem D Medical Marijuana Strain Review
From: Colorado Alternative Medicine
Grade: B+
Type: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid, ChemDawg x (SFV OG Kush x Afghani F3), from Cali Connection Seeds) aka Chem Valley Kush
Price: $50/8th
Appearance: (8.5/10) This is a very visually-striking sample, with its strong green color and copious trichome coverage. We did find a tiny green seed floating around, but it was an isolated incident — other than that, it was well-cared for and arrived nicely dry and cured. The trichomes were mainly clear and cloudy with hardly any ambers.
Aroma: (7/10) A chemical lemon smell with a pine tinge was the main smell, but there were also notes of skunk. It was never very pungent however, and almost seemed to get less pungent after the grind when it turned into almost nothing but lemons… hard to place really.
Taste: (6/10) Earthy cirtus at first, receding into a less-pleasant almost hickory wood taste. One reviewer mentioned a vaguely metallic tone by the end, but all agreed that it took a nosedive after the first two hits. Maybe the taste degradation can be explained by the medium gray ash that was leftover, indicating a possible flush issue. There’s the potential for something very nice here, but it didn’t really come out as it could have.
Effects: Almost immediately there was a rising energy and body heat accompanied by an increased pulse (one reviewer felt his heart beating in his chest strongly). Normally that phase only lasts 15 minutes or so, but this one was almost a creeper in that it continued getting more potent and rushy until its peak around 45 minutes, where it was basically an anxious state that would be uncomfortable for some. Relaxation finally kicked in toward the 2nd half of this medication, with the energy and anxiety dying down a bit and turning into more of a “Sativa crusher”, making one reviewer devolve into a yawning and stretching slug of a human. It weirdly seemed to just die off out of nowhere about 2:15 in, not a gradual decline, and ultimately typical of the unpredictable nature of this sample.
Duration: Medium-Long, 2 – 2.5 hours
Medicinal Traits: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Anti-fatigue, appetite stimulation, physical motivation
Overall: The effects were a bit puzzling and very unpredictable… they also weren’t particularly enjoyable for the majority of our review staff. It was a little too rushy and anxious for most, with one reviewer complaining of a headache and mild dizziness both times he medicated with it. The second half was a little more enjoyable and calming… It wasn’t really for us, but some people who struggle with fatigue may appreciate the electric jolt it provides. Definitely not recommended for those who suffer from anxiety or require a lot of body relaxation and pain relief. The other parts of the package were all solid but not spectacular — this is an above-average sample, but certainly excels in the niche of “racy Sativas”.
L.A. Kush (CAM)
L.A. Kush Medical Marijuana Strain Review
From: Colorado Alternative Medicine (CAM)
Grade: A
Type: Hybrid (Should be Abusive’s OG Kush cut)
Price: $50/8th
Appearance: (7/10) This sample was perfect density and had good trichome coverage, but not overwhelmingly frosty. No seeds or pests found.
Aroma: (9/10) The scent was very similar to the other L.A. Kush we reviewed, very pure, fresh pine kush that is unmistakeable.
Taste: (8/10) A very smooth and mild expansion specimen, with a lovely piney, menthol eucalyptus flavor that stays on your tongue.
Effects: The L.A. Kush is strong, with a partially cerebral and body high associated with it. Your heart will be pounding and your head will be out of the game momentarily. Within 10 – 15 minutes most patients will be in a solid state of mind whereby paranoia will have passed and the body effects will be a focus. The cerebral or heady nature of this strain will always be present, but it isn’t overbearing and is actually quite enjoyable.
Duration: Medium. 2 hours
Medicinal Traits: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Good for pain, moderate appetite created. Muscular relaxation is offered as well as a general upbeat in mood and attitude. There was no heavy come-down on this strain.
Overall: The L.A. Kush is a very solid strain that is only offered in a few centers in the Denver Metro area. We found this sample to be very high quality, and only outdone in growmanship by the sample we received from Stone Mountain Wellness (in Post420 and soon on our blog). We can’t confirm this is the Abusive’s OG Kush cut that was nicknamed L.A. Kush about 5 or 6 years ago, but it has so many similarities that if it isn’t, it must be another very fine OG Kush cut. You can look through CAM’s portfolio of reviews and see they are very consistent in their samples, and this little gem earns CAM their very first A!
