Charles’ Kush (Medicine on the Hill)
[smooth=id:213;]
Charles Kush Medical Marijuana Strain Review
From: Medicine on the Hill
Grade: B+
Type: Mostly Indica (80 – 90%)
Price: $20/gram
Appearance: (7/10) The flower is sparkling with milky white trichomes, packed full of dark red-hairs. Medium green colored packs, with hints of dark-purple. Some phenotypes are known to turn very purple or have stronger odors.
Aroma: (6/10) Has the pungent smell of kush. The aroma is not as strong as some other strains I had, but still very captivating.
Taste: (7/10) Incredibly smooth smoke. Great taste of kush, with a piney after-taste.
Effects: Hits real fast and feels like it slows time. Makes you feel a bit “light-headed”, sativa type of headiness at first and slowly turns to its indica dominant side with great relaxation throughout the body.
Buzz Length: Short-Medium. 1.25-1.5 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Great medication for an evening at home. The sedating effect it has makes this strain a great muscle relaxing herb. Really calms down my nerves and eases paranoia which is great for a bedtime smoke.
Overall: Absolutely beautiful in so many ways, Charles’ Kush is definitely an incredible herb. The effects caused by this medication are exactly what many people search for in an indica dominant strain. The smoke is super smooth and really thick; like blowing out clouds of Kush. Great bud to leaf ratio, and our samples were extremely well manicured. Bred in Canada, where it comes from a Kush and another homogenous (IBL) strain, this med is a great end-of-the-day type of smoke and many will be very happy with its qualities.
Grunk (Medicine on the Hill)
Grunk Medical Marijuana Strain Review
From: Medicine on the Hill
Grade: A-
Type: Hybrid – Grape Ape (Indica) x Skunk#1 (typically heavy Sativa ranging in %)
Price: $20/gram
Appearance: Beautiful, well manicured, crystal dipped buds. They were nice and dry and they had hints of the Grape lineage signature color.
Aroma: Very Grape – some small hints of the classic skunk scent.
Taste: Grape & Skunk (tasted more even split than it smelled)
Buzz Type: Instant starter that gave me a burst of energy, yet a bit too overwhelming to go out into the world with it at first. Fuzzy headed and a bit dopey, my workload for the day had to suffer a brief delay so could recollect my bearings (a good hour). When the “storm” calmed down a little I found no problem with function and motivation to get things done. Drained when done though.
Buzz Length: 2 ½ hours with linger
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Worked very well for muscular pain with some nerve assistance as well (spinal compression).
Overall: This is a top notch strain – great representation of its parents. It hits hard with huge expansion. It was strong but fun and made me want to go walking downtown. The only real negative thing I can say is I was left a little tired at the end of my session (the initial buzz is often the part people are looking for).
