Pez x Haze (Herbal Wellness)
Pez x Haze Medical Marijuana Strain Review
From: Herbal Wellness
Grade: B+
Type: Hybrid – (Pez is indica of Pakistan Afghani genetics and Haze is a sativa)
Price: $50/8th
Appearance: Very pretty nuggets with plenty of color tones (fall tones with purple/violet mixed).
Aroma: Soft citrus pine scent (mild pungence but was a dry and broken sample).
Taste: Ashy taste, no strong flavors but a very clean burn and medium expansion.
Buzz Type: Immediate head high, temples and teeth. Very concentrated stone moving from initial areas to the jaw and remainder of the head. Peaked quickly and then a constant drift towards sober.
Buzz Length: Short. 1 – 1.5 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Appetite inducer about 30 minutes into buzz. Appears ready to assist with head concentrated matters; migraines, TMJ, etc.
Overall: The Pez x Haze is a pretty strain with a solid aroma. We missed the taste of this strain but can’t say for sure a freshly dispensed medical nugget wouldn’t flourish in this department. The strength is average for medical marijuana, leaving you a bit spacey at times but never a total cadet. Found good relaxation and the ability to quietly enjoy a movie or show.
Quail (Herbal Wellness)
Quail Medicinal Marijuana Strain Review
From: Herbal Wellness
Grade: B
Type: Indica dominant hybrid (Strawberry Cough x Purple Kush)
Price: $45/8th (as of 11/16/10)
Appearance: Milky, ginger blonde, & very little green to be seen.
Aroma: Faintly sweet & earthy with a pine presence.
Taste: Earthy, kind of nutty.
Buzz Type: Almost no delay between intake and effect, a raise in body temperature and cerebral acknowledgement came almost instantly. After the initial intensity planes out the Quail left me at a nice relaxing, adaptable place, where I was still highly functional.
Buzz Length: Medium. 1.5 – 2 Hrs
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Would recommend Quail to assist with appetite and ocular relief with okay effectiveness for pain distraction. Can also assist in sleep inducement on the letdown.
Overall: Rumored to be nearly extinct at one time due to its low yield, I’m glad the guys at Herbal Wellness kept this specimen in the mix. A pretty strain that has a look all its own, it’s a nice all-around choice for those who seek the uncommon.
The Real Lemon (Herbal Wellness)
The Real Lemon Medicinal Marijuana Strain Review
From: Herbal Wellness (exclusive)
Grade: B
Type: Hybrid – Indica Dominant. (Blueberry x Haze x NL#5)
Price: $50/8th
Appearance: Well taken care of, good coloration.
Aroma: Sour citrus pine.
Taste: Sour citrus pine.
Buzz Type: Took a few minutes after consumption to feel an overwhelming wave of relaxation and immobility. The Real Lemon offered a head high that made my eyes heavy without the overly tired feeling that usually correlates. The initial lift from this strain diminished very slowly over the course of an hour then left me at a smooth fuzzy-body state with an increase of energy (not a boost though).
Buzz Length: Medium. 1.5 – 2 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) This one handled the bulk of my back pain and felt small concentrations towards my limbs. Feel those with ocular ailment would benefit greatly as well.
Overall: I appreciated this strain a lot mainly because it has a strong relaxing start that leaves you with a welcome handful of energy on the backend. The Real Lemon is also an original family recipe exclusive to Herbal Wellness, and I always appreciate something special.
The Church (Herbal Wellness)
The Church Medicinal Marijuana Strain Review
From: Herbal Wellness
Grade: B+
Type: Hybrid, Indica Dominant - (N.L. x Skunk#1)
Price: $50/8th
Appearance: Very pretty, multi-hue
Aroma: Faint menthol/pine smell.
Taste: Earthy.
Buzz Type: Ten minutes after medicating I was out of my seat and was on a quest to keep myself occupied. Felt a welcome dizziness along with a cerebral awareness, common with me and sativas. A bit silly and scatterbrained on this one, I found myself to be easily distracted from my task at hand. The combo of the last two sentences should give you a good understanding, this is indica dominant genetics, but sativa effects were everywhere.
Buzz Length: Short. 1 -1.5 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Medium pain relief, good muscle relief.
Overall: This one was good for me, I always welcome a nice uplifting strain although I felt it lacked in duration and wished I could have gotten a little more out of it. I have a fairly high tolerance so this one may come on much stronger for a new patient, so don’t over do it. This is a good combo of two classic strains.
