Lime Kush Medical Marijuana Strain Review

Type:  Sativa-dominant hybrid, lineage unknown

Price:  $55/8th

Appearance: (8/10) Very pretty flower clusters from this plant. Good manicure and great trichome count, though overall structure was a little sparse. Good harvest, just starting to go amber on the trichs.

Aroma: (7/10) Light clean pine, classic kush scent, with a hint of soil but no strong citrus or sour aromas.

Taste: (7/10) A slight menthol effect with only a bit of the pine/kush taste, more like fresh leaves and vegetation.

Effects:  Immediate medicinal effects of head to toe body lightness.  The first hour was a distinct phase for this specimen whereby everyone was met with an overwhelming energy rush resulting in creativity, motivation, and emotional euphoria.  The rush in itself was enough to force some to sit down and wait it out, though it was nothing like a typical couch lock.  The mind and body are in harmony with this medicine.  As the motivation instructs, the body responds effortlessly even though the muscles are relaxed and the mind is at ease.

Duration:  Medium, about 2 hours

Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) The Lime Kush is an excellent behavioral medication giving uplifting spirit and motivation, happiness/euphoria, and moderate pain relief.

Overall:  The Lime Kush was a terrific sample.  Visually it presented well, and smelled and tasted very good though both could have been more pungent.  The experience provides mind and body medication with focus and motivation coming via a relaxed physical body.  There was no heavy let down or exhausting phase to overcome, just a very nice medicinal experience.  If the Lime Kush is available the next time you are on Broadway, you should pick it up.

Grape Ape Medical Marijuana Strain Review

Grade:  A-

Type:  Indica dominant (Many stories exist as to the cuts and phenos of differing purple indica strains and how they relate to each other: Grape Ape, GDP, Purple Urkle, Humboldt Purple, Lavender, etc.)

Price:  $50/8th

Appearance:  (8/10) Light green, dark purple, yellow, orange pistils.  When broken open there are even some black areas – very dark.  Very good trichome count, just on the far side of too dense and too dry.

Aroma:  (7/10) The in jar scent is not very strong, but when ground or crumbled a very pleasant grape candy aroma permeates the room.

Taste:  (8/10) Initial taste is a bit skunky, but it leaves a terrific sweet grape flavor after taste that kept us coming back for more.

Effects:  This is a body experience, strong potency (feels more potent than our other Grape Apes we’ve tested) that will provide a diluted light-head feeling.  The medicine grabs your body and forces its relaxation as it massages away anything heavy stressing your mind.

Duration:  Long. 2+ hours
