Strawberry Cough Medical Marijuana Strain Review
From: B.C.C.
Grade: B+
Type: Sativa (70-80%) dominant (Strawberry Fields x Haze) – Strawberry Fields was an indica that is supposedly now extinct. This cross is not the same as Strawberry Haze, which is actually Swizerland x NL5 Haze but is also a very heavy sativa hybrid.
Price: $50/8th (4 grams)
Appearance: (4/10) Very loose structured buds that seem to be a bit leafy. Dark orange hairs with a yellow and purple undertone loosely covered in trichomes.
Aroma: (7/10) Very juicy smell of ginger and berries. (Rumored to not be as pungent as the name suggests and it was true of this sample.)
Taste: (6/10) It is very spicy and earthy. Has the taste of fruit on exhale only – legend is to cough to make it taste…
Effects: Strawberry Cough is very cerebral and feels kind of “trippy” to newer patients or if overdone. Mild body effects as well.
Duration: Medium. 1.5 – 2 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Great medication for anxiety and stress/hypertension. It incorporates just the right amount of indica to ease body pain but won’t eliminate it like some of the stronger strains.
Overall: Definitely not the prettiest looking, but is more of a connoisseur smoke. Those who have tried this strain know how enjoyable it is, very strong in the beginning but didn’t last very long. The comedown leaves me very energized, and would be a great day-time smoke that’s sure to get you up, or well suited for a quick post-work relaxation prior to evening chores.
