Maui Medical Marijuana Review

From:  Cherry Creek Health (SNW)

Grade:  A-

Type:  Hybrid Sativa Dominant – (lineage to Hawaiian sativa and a Mendocino hybrid)

Price: $55/8th

Appearance:  Dry buds.  No purple or deep fall tones unlike this sample.

Aroma:  Smelled skunky in the jar, but a burst of sweet citrus when crushed/ground.

Taste:   Good expansion; a mild sweetness to this one, less spicey than usual for Maui.

Buzz Type:  Sativa lift.  Very strong, mild paranoia when attempting to order take-out inside a very familiar restaurant.  It smoothed itself out very nicely and it was hard to tell when I had stepped down to that second level.

Buzz Length: Medium-Long. 1.75 – 2 Hours.

Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Good muscle and back relaxer even though it has the sativa energy.  I definitely had an appetite increase.  Depending on the type of anxiety this could be too much, or it could be perfect if you just need the motivation to leave the house and then you are fine.

Overall:  This Maui was stronger than the CAM specimen but it was also smoother, something I don’t typically group together.  The scent and taste were stronger, but it was also a fresher sample so it’s hard to compare.  There is no doubt this Maui is a tad above the cut and earns an above average with an A-.
