Northern Lights (The Giving Tree)
Northern Lights Medical Marijuana Strain Review
From: The Giving Tree
Grade: A-
Type: Indica-dominant hybrid
Price: $55/8th
Appearance: Dark emerald, almost blue green in some parts. Dense and sugary.
Aroma: Sweet menthol.
Taste: Not the most prevalent taste, but if I had to choose I would have to say it had a light Kush taste.
Buzz Type: A very somatic Indica ride. Nice and strong for the first hour where I felt my senses to be a little scrambled up, taking focus away from my eyes and ears while my head was swaying around on my shoulders. I was surprised to experience zero paranoia while on such a solid strain. I found myself drowsy and overwhelmed at times, some mild uneasiness. Not as much body as I’ve experienced on other NL phenos.
Buzz Length: Long. 2 – 2.5 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) An excellent med for hypertension and insomnia. I also found good nerve relief in my lower back.
Overall: The Northern Lights are always best experienced at night. A great one to relax on pain free and a perfect strain when sleep is in your near future.
