Blue Diesel Medicinal Marijuana Strain Review

Type: Hybrid.
Price: $55/8th
Appearance: Well manicured, dry buds.
Aroma: Artificial blue sweetener – cotton candy or melted sugar. (Research suggests two main phenos have been propogated, one very sweet and one very skunky; this is certainly the sweet variety).
Taste: Semi-sweet, not a strong taste on this one (pipe smoked).
Buzz Type: Sativa front and indica end. We all decided to try this one together and it had us on our feet interacting right away. Conversation was flowing, laughter and creativity were present, and we had an overall uplifiting feeling. Task management was a little distorted.
Buzz Length: Medium. 1.5 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors – personal opinion ONLY) Excellent for appetite and pain relief. Great for social aspects in the initial hour only. Very sleepy at 1.5 to 2 hours after ingestion.
Overall: This was a nice sample for a number of reasons. It was an easy smoke with a mild expansion and gave us a nice happy kick in the pants. If the Blue Diesel lasted another 30 minutes and didn’t dump so hard we’d have another A range grade for Cherry Creek Health.

I’ve currently a Blue Diesel cross going right now. Actually, I have two. Both are beautiful ladies and they’re really starting to smell strongly now that both plants are 54 days into flowering. I’ve heard its best to let this strain go 65 days before harvesting.. but the strain I have, is Blue Diesel crossed with British Columbian F3 and let me tell ya, these ladies are really starting to reek! I lucked out too btw because I one plant is DEF for sure Sativa dom.. and then the other girl is more on the Indica side. Whats funny is.. is that the closer that they get to harvest time.. the stronger the smell seems to get. Also, talking about smell of these two girls.. I can def for sure tell a difference in the smell between the two of them. The Indica dom plant has more of a cotton candy smell to her.. not too sweet, hard to explain really. Then the Sativa Dom girl, she has the sweetest smell to her.. its almost a tarty smell you know? Like the smell of candy almost.
But yeah, I’ve already sampled a small bud. I let it dry and then gave it a quick two week cure and let me tell ya.. this is some potent stuff IMO. The test bud was from the Sativa dom girl.. I haven’t yet taken a sample from the Indica dom.. I may just wait until she’s ready for harvesting before I take a sample bud from her.
But anyhow.. if you like top notch smoke with great taste and smell.. I highly recommend the Blue Diesel strain.
